Look, maybe you did not know, but Seattle is somewhat hilly.
It's true! Everything is on a hill. Or maybe at the bottom of a hill. Whichever.
Anyhow, so, I don't have a car here. It's all bus rides and walking, right? I'm ok with this, but when I first got in, walking around was really rough. But it's getting way easier, so if nothing else, I'm probably going to come out of this situation in pretty ok physical shape. ^_^
I found this out when I walked down to the Starbucks to talk with the manager. The way up was not as bad as it used to be. So that is a good thing. The meeting was kinda iffy, though. Like, I really can't tell one way or the other, so I'm not getting emotionally invested. I'll just say that getting a job there would be a Good Thing, so.
