Briefly, because it's getting near sleep time, I'll mention that I had a pretty nice weekend. Saturday is spent not doing much of anything. Heat is out in the morning and I get up early because I need to use the lavatory. Once I was up, that was it. Set a pot of coffee on and get to it. It was just that... I didn't do anything. ^_^;; I spent the day playing video games instead, and that was quite ok after my active vacation.
Today was a day to get a little bit done, but I forgot to do laundry because I kept putting it off. I kept expecting Brent to be by so I didn't want to get stuck with laundry in the wash or be playing Final Fantasy in a party and have to cut it short, so it was just more time spent on Facebook or on the PS3. Don't get the impression I'm complaining. I ate leftover pizza, drank coffee, and then went out to get required hardware for an online RPG session. In the meantime, I got a small cabinet for clothing, hangers, lightbulbs, and some misc. foodstuffs. Speaking with Violet, I chanced on a phrase that sums it up exactly right: "It feels more like I live here instead of it just being a place I sleep.", and that's really true.
I was going to get a table, but Target didn't have the kind I'd want. Low, so I can sit at it, and without a crossbar or panal that obstructs my legs. I considered the desk-looking thing, but it requires a chair. I'm not anti-chair, or anything, but (1) I've got a look in mind and (2) a chair(s) adds to the mass of the room without really improving the functionality, which is something to avoid when I feel like I'm on the move so often.
The weekend didn't quite use up my purchasing expenses, but I'm keeping a close eye on what I buy because I thoughtlessly left some checks in St. Louis that I intended to cash. I still actually broke down and bought Persona 3 on Amazon, because for 25 bucks, I got the artbook, the CD, and the game. So awesome. Frankly, I've been dying to play this thing forever, and never got around to it. I am just like, well, I might as well, this is pretty rediculous. I also got to bring around some more books and DVDs, which is awesome. After I clean up and do laundry, maybe I will post pictures of where I live. ^_^
