I'm beat, so I don't know how long this'll be. I just got back from drinking and hanging out over at Brent's with some acquaintances, and I had a really good time. After a pretty relaxed night, I'm happy just to kind of update a bit and hit the sack. I've had a lot on my mind the last few days, which is what this is about, I guess.
Heat's been off lately, and the guy that rents the place hadn't said anything, so I just kind of assumed that the propane peeps were slow on getting out. Turns out that it's scheduled/delivered by the landlord, who won't schedule a delivery for less then a full tank which lasts about 3 months. OTOH, gas isn't delivered because the renter is moving to California to care for his grandmother, so Jolene and I won't have heat until we move or decide to negotiate separately. That's life.
That's overshadowed by the fact that I'm forced into finding new living arrangements. Jolene wants to stay in the city because that's the only way bussing is really reliable, but that's really just the most convenient method. I know Seattle works better then Issaquah, ironically, even though Issaquah is simply the next town over. Basically, it's totally up in the air. I have no way of knowing how this will fall out, so I guess we'll see. I've been tired of interesting developments for a while, but whatever. Fuck it, at least I'm kept on my toes.
