The funny thing is, I think I could play SRS BIZNEZ Magic if I wanted to, and since I'm sharper then I used to be, it might even be worth it. Casual Magic and competitive Magic are two totally different animals. One's got Thallid (oh God, thallids) theme decks and people snickering about Spore Clouds and the other one has probability curves and meta-game analysis.
About the only thing the two have in common are basic lands. >_> Which didn't make me popular when I took my rules-lawyer-y self to casual play days over at the local community college, and less popular still since one of my decks relied on obscure timing tricks to clinch victory.
