You'll probably get some real posts from me not that it's not November and I'm not lying to myself about NaNo.

Money is getting terribly tight over here, but that's always true for me in the December months. Even when I was working, I was given several unpaid weeks off that made the holiday season particularly dim, but it's been a few years since I was working when Christmas time rolled around. You've probably heard everything you ever really care to hear about the lower classes and their uncomfortable relationship with the holidays, and there's probably going to be a time where I'll write more in-depth about it from a more academic perspective (instead of my usual unceasing vitriol), but I'm not going to do it while people are enjoying it. This time.

I'm not any more concerned than I typically am. In fact, I'd say that I'm uncharacteristically optimistic (which means that I'm not overtly, caustically pessimistic). I'm not going to go into the details too much, but I fully expect to be doing well in about three months time, which is good; just in time for spring.

I do have some writing to do.

Brent, man, I haven't seen you online for awhile. I assume you're coming back at some point for the holidays, but I wanna run Exalted shit by you. Anyone else who digs the rulesets is great, too. Mikey, I think you read this scholock sometimes, maybe you've got some opinions? Also, The Jenna kind of took me to task for neglecting my essay writing, so I need to do that, too. Well, staying busy is good for you; at least this is stuff I love.

Honestly, I've been neglecting my own aspirations for a little too long. I keep putting them off for a time when things are more advantageous, but that may never occur, so I might as well get it out of my system and begin taking another stab at them.
