When I left Fairview, I thought I had my checks. Banks of America in Illinois won't take my checks to cash because I've got a Washington account, and in all 50 states, only one state has a seperate account system that prevents me from cashing. Washington is, for some reason not explained to me, seperate from every other state demonstrating that of all the banks I could of picked, I would pick the least convienant one for my purposes. Anyhow, I left them in IL, and nobody can find them. I had both my parents check, and they're answering conclusively now, so there's not much to be done about it except to see if I can get my paycheck reissued. I guess anything is possible.
I've had this frustrating thing going on this week where I wake up in mid-dream. I tend to just wake up about a minute before my alarm goes off, and that hasn't gone anywhere, except for my dream to kindly tell me that I need to wake up at about the exact time my alarm rings. How that works, I do not know, but the most disconcerting thing was dreaming that an gradeschool peer of mine spontantiously became angry and belted me in the mouth. For the rest of the dream, my teeth were falling out, which was intensely distressing.
I'm told this is a common theme in dreams, which always kind of baffles me, because it seems so random. But I've had them before, and I really dislike them. Just thinking about it is weird and disconcerting.
