(no subject)

The game went fine on Sunday, which is good. I always get nerves before running anything, so running a few successful ones is pretty good for my confidence. I really don't think that Exalted is the game that's best suited for my running style, which is kind of hard to explain, but it's going alright and it seems to be getting smoother. Last game was just a touch railroady, but things came together in a way everyone seemed behind. I guess if everyone buys train tickets, they're not surprised when you travel by rail.

The map worked out pretty well, and I'm glad I drew one up. I might do that more in the future. What's next, minis? Gasp!

Moving in has been pretty smooth. I still want to swing by the old place so that I can grab a few last things, probably vacuume (I lived there, so I'm responsible for leaving it tidy), see if anything needs doing. I left a small shelf there that I can put back together and even if its life isn't long, having something to set stuff on is a step in the right direction since the place is totally empty. I also don't currently have internet access. Connection is faint and encrypted, and I plan on stopping into othe office after work and checking to determine what the code is and why I'm not picking up television reception. This stuff is all chalked up under 'moving issues' for me, so I haven't gotten anything in a twist over it yet.
