I'm hoping to replace or edit/update this post a little later, but oh well.
I really had hoped to have updated the WIR, and we're getting to the mechanics but said mechanics take up the bulk of the book and since I'm reading through it instead of skimming plus hoping to add fairly detailed commentary on the style, mechanical quality, implications of the ruleset, and art, it's taking longer than I'd thought. If it were a day off or it was, say, Friday and I was going in at 4 PM, I'd have the time. But it's Sunday and I have to leave in an hour to be in at 2, so I don't.
It's a 6 hour shift, so I'm off at 8 (or close - yesterday we went 30 minutes over), so I could very well have the time this evening. But I do have to go into work at 7 AM tomorrow, so I'll be going to bed fairly early. It could be as late as tomorrow afternoon or even Tuesday morning when I'm able to update.
I don't know if y'all especially care about the core book, but I actually really like it so I'm going to stick with it.
