Today's news might really put the kibosh on my standard gaming right as I was about to get into it again. I've been radically shifted from my day time schedule to a 2nd shift, and had my days off switched from Sat-Sun to Fri-Sat, which wouldn't be so bad if Sunday wasn't gaming day. I know at least one person who has a schedule that is actively fighting a Saturday game day, which puts doubts on the whole operation. I'm not irritated at that, just the change that caused the conflict in the first place. Yes, it's a pain, no, it's not the end of the world, yes, it's just me bitching.
So, I need to be out by the 1st and my move in day is tomorrow, which means that I'll probably make two trips in two days, or something like that. My last roommate had left all her dishes, and I did some sorting because, well, I'm not taking all of them. I was happy to find a small set of coffee cups that are the same general type that I drank coffee out of while I stayed at Violets. They're just the size I want them at because, while I do occasionally enjoy a really large cup of coffee, I tend to prefer a smaller one. It stays hot for just the right amount of time, and I guess I'm just picky enough to notice.
It made me smile. I guess I'm simple like that.
