I've really been too tired lately to do much of anything after work but stay about the house and do a little light cleaning. Last night was 'malt liquor Wednesday' which really does what it says on the tin, but it was easy to let time get away because everyone else was playing an Exalted one-shot and I was pretty much just sitting by myself most of the evening listening to music.
Starting a one shot role playing session at 10:30 PM on a week night after drinking booze just seemed like trouble to me. I mean, I guess it would have been. They stopped early, but they were up until pretty late and now there's a person on our couch, liquor bottles are scattered about, and tobacco ash is piled about several plates on several tables.
It should be pretty easy to clean up, I guess, at least.
I guess one reason I've been so tired is that work has been so incessant. There's a lot of new software to learn, which is radically different but doesn't add any functionality, really. When it goes down, every one of our tools goes down because, well, single point of failure. To cope, we've had increased hours for weeks, and I can tell that morale is low all the way from here. Speaking for myself, I've already started more or less just working after rolling out of bed and setting coffee on, so I'm honestly not even changing out of pajamas and fleece to work this week.
