Clock Watching

I'm just seeing time pass this morning, and my guess is that it's going to be one of those days where you just keep your chin up and deal. After work today, I'm not sure which tack I'll take for the weekend; I'm staring at writer's block and I'm feeling like I started in on the wrong story. I mentioned it in my xanga, but I'll recap here - the story I'm trying to write never had a discreet plot, but I'd fooled myself into believing that it did, and that the characters were entities that were ready to hit the page. Halfway through November, almost, and the writing isn't going anywhere. Nothing has progressed and, finally, I just hit a wall and words fail to manifest.

So I work. I put them there the hard way, but they don't look like they're attached to anything. I'm wondering if I'm going to do what I do with all the writing projects I actually intend to finish; start, re-start, and just fold all the writing into one document before editing.

Meanwhile, I just want to get through the day.
You'll probably win this time, Matt. Doesn't really feel like much of a competition. <_<
