I had found some delightful coffee on sale, but the coffee maker made a mess of the balance between oils and content, leaving the drink far more bitter then I would of preferred. I think the coffee dried on transport somewhat. To remedy this and get the most out of what really did still cost me quite a lot, I picked up some bottle water and brewed it in a carafe. Much better. A very pleasent way to start a morning off.

Heading to the licensing department again today, now that I have a much clearer idea of where I'm going. It almost seems like they tried to hide the place, but that's ok. I haven't bought alcohol in about a month because I've been tired of getting carded and looked at funny. Instead of fixing it or just sucking it up, I followed my usual MO and just stopped drinking alcohol at all.

But I need a license to do car stuff! So I'm gonna get one, and that'll be that. I've decided to abstain from new game hardware or a whole new table, but I'll get some stools today for my counter because I'm honestly of the opinion I'll prefer that setup to what I have now. The coffee table is fine, but it's kind of crowded, so it'll give me somewhere to switch up my writing from and somewhere for people to eat when they stop by.

Other then that, it's game day! I enjoy RP sessions so much, but they get called off as frequently as I get to engage in them, so I'm pleased that we're on for today. Tomorrow is Chris' birthday event as well, so it seems like this weekend really might be a delightful endeavor. I am already well-pleased, and hope to continue this trend through the next several days.

I failed to get a new driver's license. When I checked the website, it basically just said I needed an valid out of state ID but that was only pertaining to if I needed to test or not. Totally missed the part where I needed 3 forms of ID. A yearbook counts but a college ID doesn't. I don't know how this works.

At that point I did what and logical person is going to do being put into this situation. No, not getting the required identification and driving back. I pulled up Hulu and decided to watch some The Daily Show! Hurrah!

This is what never fails to fascinate me. Stewart is basically the toughest interview in town, on any network. Regardless of who wins the debate, and regardless of the fact that this is a comedy show, Stewart's coverage of the news and maybe more importantly, his interviews with guests, are more intense then anything else I see on TV. I was particularly impressed with the fact that they actually opened up the health care bill and actually discussed readings directly from the bill. It took up at least half the episode. Pretty fucking hardcore, if you ask me.
