My weekend was pretty busy, and I didn't get much of anything done, really. That isn't to say I didn't have a decent time, since I did, but I spent at least four hours in a car yesterday - and at least 15 minutes of that seemed to have been one of my companions reading aloud from his iphone at peak volume, one band after another. I say 15 minutes, but it felt like forever. Et al, et cetra.
My mind has been on a number of things all at once again, from Magic to Exalted, and it's hard to pin anything down. I'm a big fan of the most recently released Magic core set, and I'm writing game scenarios, taking notes, and whatever. I'm afraid to stay in prep stage forever regarding some projects, but I've recently willed them ahead - in one case, changing the tense of my writing from 3rd person to 1st, which dramatically increased my enjoyment in writing it. I am always leery of writing 1st person fiction, but it is a natural progression; the character must say 'I'.
I mentioned briefly that I was considering doing reviews of just whatever I happened to read, and I got enough people saying they were interested that I guess I'll do it. I really don't know where I'm going to field those reviews. At first, I figured it would be via Xanga, which links to Facebook. My LJ is more thematically linked to the idea, though. And, eventually, I wondered if I shouldn't just create an autonomous place for it. I might try out a few things. Like most stuff I do, it's dubious if I'll like the results enough to show others.
