I'm probably not going to get too intensely into this journal entry. I'm working another long day today, and it may be the last I'm forced to do. They pretty much paid for my new game system, so I try not to get too cross. I know lots of people work long days on a routine basis. I don't dig it, but I'm not trying to play misery poker. It doesn't matter; I'm taking calls today and all I can think about is how I'd love to cook something up.

I'm hungry. Nom nom nom. I bought a PS3 instead of new cookware, but I still really want a new stainless steel wok, cast iron pan, dutch oven, ect, et al. If my folks ask me what I want for gifts, at least I know what to tell them.

This week is back to normal with gaming - probably. This weekend, the Changeling game was called due to holiday, where half my group ended up doing Easter stuff with family. I went home to chat with my dad, whose lifestyle now resembles nothing so much as The Golden Girls, except younger and all dudes. I like my dad a lot, but his two biggest topics are still that he's unhappy my mom left him and that he's happy (and somewhat baffled) that he's not desperate and poor anymore after the seperation. I think the whole scenerio shell-shocked him a little.

This is getting long. Anyway, I don't want to skip Sunday's game. I may, but it's generally unlikely.
And Rockband is back! Say goodbye to real hobbies!

Heheh, Dutch oven. I'm ten.

Also, I gotta talk to you soon about gaming, man. I need some advice, and you're the right guy.

Yeah, there's this campaign I'm writing, but I really want to run it without a system, cause, well, my attention span doesn't permit one. So I was wondering if you could help me with that.

Probably. I'm not online as much as I used to be, so if you've got questions you can either tag me here or I'll just try to IM you when I'm on. Right out of the blue, I don't have any profound recommendations, except that there are a few systems that are *very* light, and I've even designed one that's pretty fluid.

That's if you'd like some resolution structure but don't have a lot of desire for complicated rules.
