I woke up to feeling like I'd been severely pummeled, which is fine actually, because that's how I feel pretty much every morning. It's something, basically, that I've become reconciled to. It's really when I'm about halfway to work that I realize, "Oh, well, I probably shouldn't actually be driving."

Fuck. Oops. I feel lightheaded, distant, and sick to my stomach. I am basically sick. Shitty.

Well, I ran Mage last night. The group was introduced to a cocktail that was primarily stiff booze that tasted like it wasn't extraordinarily early in to the session, and the game never really recovered. I remained lucid and rallied, but they were pretty off the rails. I called the game about half an hour early, finally, when I decided that we shouldn't even really be pretending that role-playing was our primary agenda anymore. I mean, I really just didn't have patience for that kind of malarkey. I mean, I wasn't feeling very well in the first place.

I don't know if that's, like, a lesson or not. But I feel like, if everyone is kind of straying from the game and unable to concentrate, there's no really good reason to force it. We just wrapped up the night with a fun time of drinkin'. But also, drinking is not a good thing to do when you are ill and having a hard time with that lucid thing. You don't even have to drink a lot if you're me. It's just lights out time. Bam. Time to nap on the couch while everyone's getting their party on.

So, really, I just wrote today off. Forget about it. Read Homestuck and drink some tea and don't even worry about it.

I had a busy Saturday, and I am feeling a little poorly today. Perhaps it is because I spend a number of hours in the wind and rain, and walked about in wet shoes. I may have exerted myself too strenuously without sufficient rest, as well. When I returned home today, with the assistance of a visiting Brent, I had hardly the energy to delight in any kind of activity of a strenuous mental or physical nature and largely subsisted on ramen noodles and broth until evening when I regained my appetite somewhat.

I crave teriyaki chicken, but I will just eat a sandwich and drink some tea before turning in early. My eyes have felt gritty and my muscles have been inexplicably sore, so I think that I am fighting off a fever.

Writing has been put off for yesterday and today. Back on for tomorrow.
